Broken CPU Backplate Stuck D::

A part of my backplate which is holding on the double-sided screws broke. To fully screw in the CPU cooler (Kraken x31) i needed a double sided screw thats thin, but I didn't notice that there was a double sided screw that has 1 thin side and another thick side. Is there any ways to take out the wrong screw? I tried taking it out but it keeps spinning with the backplate part that holds the screw in.
