The monitor I'm using has an audio jack... But it only works if you are using the HDMI port, which I am not. I will be using DVI (because I'm using my PC). I need other options for audio, what can i do? Any other comments on my build are appreciated!! http://pcpartpicker.com/p/WFvNVn

Have you tried connecting directly on front port/back port

I'd have thought it would be a good call to plug your stuff into the back of your motherboard or the front of your case

So like USB speakers in the motherboard... And/or headphones just plugged into the tower?

I know this makes it harder for u to answer.... But no I haven't because I am just figuring out all the problems before I buy the parrts

Oh in that case you shouldn't be worried all motherboards come audio jacks (even 5.1 or 7.1 setups,even the digital one) and your case also has a audio jack connected from your motherbourd.

Oh, so even plugging in speakers to the motherboard would work? And thanks for the response sorry trying to figure out everything before I buy the parts... First build.....

It's fine,yup any 3.5mm audio male jack will work including home theater setups through S/PDIF Toslink ,In due time you will figure everything out,
