Hey all, I am still having trouble selling my old components, and the only way I see selling them fast is bringing the price down to a $250-275 Buy It Now.

So I was going to use the money from this to buy an i5 4460, H81M-ITX mini ITX board, and a new SG05, since I have always wanted to do a build in that case; it's one of if not my favorite. Thing is, if I lower the price to move it out quick, I will only have money for an i3 4160, not an i5. My question is, is it still worth getting rid of my FX 6300 for this? There area couple bright sides to this:

-I can carry my PC around VERY easily.

-It's the size of a child's size shoebox and will be more powerful.

-It's in my favorite chassis.

-I know the i3 definitely isn't a downgrade over the FX 6300.

-I can always upgrade later to a 4790 or Xeon E3-1241 v3.

Let me know what I should do. I really want to move to the SG05 as soon as I can. Thanks!

Well, AFAIK for the most part a 4160 would still be more powerful than a 6300.

Try parting it out?

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

That's what I wanted to hear. I know the 4160 is more powerful, but do you think it's worth selling all this? I also REALLY want a mini ITX build in the SG05. I also don't want to part it out, becasue if I sell the CPu, or MB first, I am without a working system until I sell the rest.

50% of what you can buy for now is what is fair also sell locally no shipping no ebay taking 15% no worries take it down while you can

Is $259.99 an okay price for what I'm selling? What would that amount to after fees and stuff? With the shipping cost of ~$20 as well.

Not advert, just want some help.

Well if you want that one chassis

Chassis: yes

Mobo: yes

CPU: yes

RAM: maybe

As I said, part it out.

As I said, I don't want to be without a working system for more than the time it takes for the new components to get here. If I happen to sell the MB or CPU first, that could be a problem. I have everything else, all I need is the new case, CPU, and MB.

So if the parts are $500 new, I should sell for around $250?

I relisted on eBay for a Buy It Now price of $269.99. I can bring it down to $259.99, but that's why I also put Best Offer. I also put the ad on Criagslist for the amount you said but I haven't gotten anything.

I'm trying my best to make it lol. So if all goes well I should end up with these:

Motherboard: ASRock H81M-ITX Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($61.38 @ Newegg)
Total: $225.34
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-07-25 21:19 EDT-0400

Is it worth ditching my FX 6300? I know that moving to mITX is a big plus for me.

I did $269.99 + S&H. That should leave me just enough after the fees and stuff to order the components I wanted.

try and see if you can get that stuff used

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Prefer not to. The prices didn't seem too right anyway. I also posted on Craigslist for $250, local pickup obviously, so it should go pretty fast. Thanks again.

nonono never put the price you want to sell at. Put a fairly high price so you can deal with lowballers

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

I'm very firm on the price, if they want to go lower I will. But $230 is the lowest I can go, since the components cost $225 or something and it costs like $3 to activate one of those prepaid cards (16, so I don't have a bank account or anything).

I've dealt on Craigslist before, not too bad. usually the people who want PC parts are geeks like you and I. Not crazy psychopaths.

I am firm on $250. I don't mind the low ballers, I can usually deal with them. I have a savings account but not a checking account and stuff, so no cards I can use online. It's only a short bike ride to Kroger to buy one though.
