okay so to make it a good build change the cpu to an intel i5 or i7 ? yea

Gaming- I5s are better because they give almost similar performance for a smaller cost

Multi-Threaded Gaming with slight CAD work- I7s are better for slight rendering and with games that require multi-threaded performance

snip

Switch the CPU for an I5 if you're looking to game

If you are getting an I7 switch it with the K version because you can't overclock on non-K

The Z-Board is used for overclocking CPUs

Never cheap out on a GPU if you're looking to game as it is used more often in the modern games

So get either:

I5-4460 with R9 380 or R9 280x

I5-4690k with R9 380

I5-4460 with R9 390

i7 is waste of money for gaming because the performance gain is very small and theyre more expensive than the i5. You would be better off spending the omney on a better gpu, maybe and r9 290?

Well it really depends on what game it is so this isn't entirely true

Some games require a few threads, but the newer games are requiring more multi-thread performance

But then again with his budget he could settle for an I5 as it fits his budget quite well

Games are just starting to take advantage of 4 phisical cores. A high end i5 wont bottleneck any single gpu on the market. i7 is waste of money because in gaming youre going to get like 3-5fps over an high end  i5 and its like 70-100$ more expensive. You are going to get much more fps if you spent that money on a better gpu.
