Witcher 3 preformence

Hi

 

So iv played witcher 3 for about 74 hours with a 970 and i7 2700k@4.4.

 

The whole time it was at 40 fpss, but there were a couple of game sensations were it was @ 60-70 fps.

 

When i lower the graphic options from ultra to low there is no difference. Its been bugging me for a while  and until now i havent found a fix for this problem. Btw last ran the game on version 1.06

I have most settings maxed out, a few turned back. Playing at 1080p, it very, very rarely drops below 60fps.

Lemme guess, the game jumps to 60fps in Novigrad and Skellige, right?

 

Try turning down the distant foliage setting, this is the most taxing on hardware.  The next most intensive setting is shadows, but the difference between low and ultra is like 4 fps, whereas with distant foliage, you gain almost 10fps just from lowering it from ultra to high.

It happend once ut the game never goes up to 60 anymore stays at 40 even on low settings
