Need Help! Slow boot

So I have this issue and have literally spent the last 12 hours in this chair, only coming to this forum as a last resort on trouble shooting this problem.

 

The problem: Windows loads from bios in about 2.8 seconds and proceeds to log me in, sometimes this involves waiting around two minutes with a grey/black screen with just a mouse if it doesn't do this then it loads my desktop but it wont load any applications, and I cant bring up the start button or load command prompt or anything for about 3 minutes. All of a sudden it just kicks back into gear and loads every program in about 2 seconds.

 

My system specs:

 

Operating system : windows 8.1 pro

 

Processor : intel i5 4670k

 

Graphics card: Nvidia 780 TI

 

Ram: 16gb g.skill 2400 ddr3

 

SSD: 1TB samsung 850 Evo - (I recently upgraded to from samsung 840 pro which booted from bios in about 6 seconds and loaded programs instantly.

 

What have I done to trouble shoot this problem?

 

1. 5 fresh installs from two different devices 

 

2. Refreshed PC 2x

 

3. Disconnected all additional cables including mouse, keyboard and all other external materials

 

4. downloaded and installed all windows updates and manually installed all device drivers from manufacturers website/ other

 

5. Run startup repair from cd, usb, numerous occassions.

 

6. cleared system files with disk cleanup utility removing old copies of updates, temporary files, cache, etc

 

7. virus scans with avast/ avg/ malwarebytes and bitdefender

 

8. used MSCONFIG to manually disable all processes followed windows clean boot tutorial to no success

 

9. used task manager to manually disable startup processes

 

10. monitored startup processes with nothing out of the ordinary hogging CPU

 

11. run cmd to check for disc errors etc

 

12. formatted hardrive completely numerous times

 

If anybody could lend me a hand with this I would greatly appreciate it as I have been staring at this computer for nearly 9 hours straight and searched every forum available and tried every fix possible.

I was going to delete post but then I found a solution to this problem. I will leave this here unless a mod wants to remove it.

 

Solution: For some reason Nvidia streamer service was causing my computer to lag and not load properly after logging in. Once disabling this it works like charm

Just a quick question,did you check your SSD,make sure that it's in AHCI not IDE,and 4K lined up?...Could make a tons of differences...
