I just wanted to chime in here and say that I have to drop a lot of settings for DayZ to get consistent 60 fps at 1080p, and I'm running a 980 ti, i73820, and 16 gbs of ram.  The only reason I'm bringing this up is to say that the game is honestly just terribly optimized at this time, and I wouldn't recommend basing the foundation of any machine configuration off of it's ability to play a badly optimized game.  I truly believe a 750 ti would run DayZ at a level not too far from my 980 ti, so if that game's the only reason that you're building this rig then I would recommend not going with an expensive machine as I expect optimization for that title to improve a lot in the future.  That being said if you're still interested in building a more capable machine and are interested in games other than DayZ then you have a budget that can build a machine capable of beasting 1080p at max settings, assuming you end up going with an i5/970 or r9 290.  Also, just so you know bro that website's sketch as f*ck, don't believe I'd use that my man.  Just my opinion though.

Oh signature time!  It's on now, gonna give ya somethin snarky and clever and think way too hard about this because I'm really concerned about what people on the internet think of me.  Better google some good quotes to put in here too.....oh wait I'm not a loser.

Get an i5 4690 with a gtx 970, and at least 8gb of RAM and you'll be fine. Although I prefer to recommend 16gb of RAM because: reasons

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs
