not sure but if your worried about it being hot. remember its a AMD cpu and they tend to do that somtimes because they are not very efficient. a better cooler maybe a better option than delidding thow

I assume you can delid any CPU if you try.

 

Though, I also assume you ask this on the basis you're concerned about accidentally doing so. Don't worry; it's not that easy to do so.

can you delid a amd cpu?

why would you do that? most AMD CPU,s are soldered to the IHS and therefore you can't do any better even if you try...soldered is soldered...it's as good as it gets.
