computer not recognizing ssd on install

My specs are in sig, I was running Windows 8.1 SSD, but I unplugged it while on a game of DotA, and it freaked out. Sometimes it booted, but it would crash a lot, and sometimes it just showed me a grey cursor. My bios kept switching my hard drive to first priority in boot. I received advice from you guys that said to reinstall windows, so I set about doing that. However, the installer won't recognize my ssd.

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.

Try a different SATA port...?
