Display for gaming/streaming

Hi,

 

I m looking for a new display for my gaming/streaming PC (5820@3.3GHz+980Ti).

 

I m on a budget right now, so what is out there under 800$?

 

As I will use the machine for streaming as well, i m not to sold on the ultrawide screens, as the artifacting in downgrading to 1080p might be a problem.

Well you can 100% find some good monitors for that price, not really a budget aha 

 

You could even get the Acer XB270HU, which right now is probably one of the best options for a 980Ti, it's 1440p, 144Hz, G sync and IPS. All for about $700-$750

 

But why aren't you sold on ultrawides? I didn't quite understand the downgrading/artifacting issue

When you stream, you have to do that in 1080, so you have to downgrade your resolution. If your resolution is 21:9 and you have to rerender it to 16:9 to fit the 1080p standard you will get issues.

The problem with your list is, that most of them are not even out yet, at least i could not find them.
