Worried about dust...

If it's going to be sitting out, there's nothing you can do.

I mean, overall, your PC is going to get dust in it no matter what. Just take a can of compressed air and spray it out once a week while it's still on the box.

I can spray through the heatsink on the GPU, too?

Dust the hardware before re-installing them.

I have to RMA my NZXT Noctis 450 (GG QC). I am probably going to put my PC on my motherbaord box in the mean time. My desk is basically Dust 2 so I don't want my PC to be affected like that. What to do?

 

It's probably not going to take that long for the RMA, maybe like a week or two, your PC will be perfectly fine, if it gets dusty just some canned air and dust it off with that. (Or a low pressure air compressor)

just clean it with compressed air on a regular basis and maybe just clean the area around it first? but make sure to take some distance from your hardware while blasting it with compressed air, if you put too much pressure on it the air will create friction and with that a static charge that can damage your hardware.

 

in concern of airflow and overall heat exhaust a cover really isnt a good idea..

 

but as ppl mentioned above a RMA doesnt take long and you would have to live in a desert to pile up enough dust in that time to hurt your hardware.. I left my PC running on a cardbox for a whole year :D

I don't think that I want to deal with NZXT anymore, probably going to post the case on the Classfields to buy an R5.
