Hello, I have a dc7700 HP Convertible Minitower PC and was wondering what graphics cards I could put in it. I have been using the integrated graphics and would like an upgrade. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

My PC specs are:

Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.20Ghz(2 CPUs)

Memory: 4GB

Graphics Card: Intel® Q965/Q963 Express Chipset Family

OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit

If you need any more information on the computer, please let me know.

Thanks In Advance.

With that kind of a cpu, I'd recommend at most a gt 750 or R7 260, the 260 will outperform the 750, but not by a landslide. You may need a low-profile bracket, just make sure it will work before committing to anything.

EDIT:: oh, lack of sleep starting to show itself, that might not even support a modern graphics card. It'd be smarter to save some cash and invest in a cheap build.

No offense, but there is no chance any current gen graphics card will be used on a Pentium 4 setup, and it wouldn't make any sense to throw money at a GPU. The CPU will be an incredible bottleneck, plus just about no current title game would even run. Sadly, I think its time for an upgrade.

BUT if an upgrade isn't an option, I don't even know what I would recommend. Maybe try and find a used 8800 GT on ebay for cheap? Or something of that caliber. Honestly a 8800 GT would make that CPU one huge bottleneck as well, but it would make a little more sense, and cost a lot less. You would have to make sure you power supply was up to the task tho, which it also probably is not :/
