Can this laptop be upgraded at all?

I was looking for a new laptop for school for around $800-$1000 and I found this Asus one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834232574 Not bad for the money. Only thing is I would like 512gb of SSD storage this one only has 256gb. So does this laptop have another slot to put an SSD. I'm pretty sure that even if it doesn't have another M.2 SSD slot I could put a 2.5in SSD because they also offer this laptop with a 128gb SSD and a 1TB HDD. Also could I upgrade to 16gb of RAM if I wanted?

You might be able to upgrade RAM, I doubt the SSD will work tho, if you really want more SSD storage, you might have to use an external HDD converter

You can get one with an SSD and an HDD, so presumably the SSD is M.2 or mSATA

you could clone the original drive to a bigger one, but there's no way of telling how many RAM slots it has without finding a reviewer that opens it up.

i would say ram, dont know how many slots though and storage.

 

cpu and gpu can not though

 

also, you could just get the i5 since they have the same cores just lower speeds, and get the 128 ssd and 1tb hdd

depends on laptop you can upgrade RAM and HDD on most laptops but thats it

It's most likely a 2.5 drive for the 256GB one and probably M.2 for the 128GB model......
