Windows hangs randomly

Hi, I just built a file server/HTPC with some parts I had and it hangs after 20 min or so of being on and I need to restart, I haven't been able to find any trigger for it.

 

Specs
    Motherboard: Asrock N68C-GS FX
    CPU: AMD Fx 6300
    Ram: 8gb Crucial Ballistix (one stick, I don’t know if it matters)
    Storage: 120 gb Kingston HyperX SSD and 3 3tb Seagate Barracudas in a storage space.
    GPU: Nvidia GeForce 210

    OS: Windows 8 (I haven't been able to install 8.1 without it hanging)

Things I Know
    I ran memtest for 8 hours with no errors.
    It does not hang in safe mode
    The only things that start with windows are Chrome, the Java updater, the Nvidia Driver, and a plex media server

Any help would be appreciate, thanks.

Does event log say anything?

I have checked the event log and all that I can see is that i powered off the system improperly.

 

I could post a screen shout if you think it would help.
