I would upgrade to a 4790k as well as a Z97 chipset motherboard. Remember to back up windows because u always have to reinstall when changing motherboards.

290 is amazing. If you are unhappy with that processor get the better i5-4690k. However, what are you doing?

But that being said I plan to get bigger games on it

By the looks of it, the only upgrade you actually need is an i7, that's it!

If you are looking for a massive gain you'd need Fury X or 295x2 or 980ti. For a lil more go with the 290x or 390x. 390 is such a small performance gain that's not really worth it.

Out of the 980ti and Fury X what would you pick?

Fury X if you plan to go beyond 1080p. At 1080p the performance is nearly identical. So, if just 1080p go with whichever is cheaper.

NZXT, Corsair, Phanteks, or even Lian Li is a good upgrade. http://caselabs-store.com/ = a big name for cool cases. Lian Li literally has a train case though.
