Hey guys,

I am thinking about water cooling my pc. A few questions if I may.

1. Is a 360mm radiator good enough for a gtx 970 and a 4690k?

2. Can you name everything I need to buy, eg fittings, tubing, etc.

Thanks heaps

For a 360mm rad it is enough to cool those components it's usually recommended to have a 120mm rad space per component and more for silent cooling.

In terms of CPU and GPU blocks I recommend EKWB they should have you covered for that.

For fittings and tubing if you want to do soft tubing the most common are 3/8"ID 1/2"OD, 3/8"ID 5/8"OD (small diameters), and 1/2"ID 3/4"OD (large diameter).

Pump wise either go for a DDC or D5 pump which is considered the gold standard in WC pumps.

For all of this if you want to try to lower the cost you can get a kit from EKWB or XSPC and add in a GPU block for that system.

Thanks a lot @w-l

Budget is around $400ish. I have no pieces already as I don't know what to get. @Mihemine

So you already have the pc ?

Do you have a close location that you want to buy from ?

Do you already have fans / case / other ?

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

For about ~$400 getting a kit and adding in a GPU waterblock is probably your best solution if you want to keep it close to that budget.
