Gaming 7 has all PCI-E, Krait has Some PCI and less PCI-E. Other than that, it's up to your color scheme.

i wouldnt go with either of them...i would go with the MSI Z97 Gaming 5 motherboard.

The SLI krait is a very cheap board, and the gaming 7 is overkill...the gaming 5 is the sweet spot and very likely to have all you need.
