I don't know if this is a silly question or not but...

(Sighs...)              -How to tell if a PSU is continuous rated?

I recently watched Linus's video about power supplies and I learned I little about their value, role, dangers, etc..

I also learned that choosing a continuous rated PSU is better than Peak.

I've searched in Google about this and I couldn't find a continuous rating in any PSU labels.

   ..So how?

They're usually branded as continuous. I know Antec sells a lot that are continuous.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

So... is it like..it'll said Continuous on the package?

If it IS continuous, it will say on the packaging. Otherwise, it is the peak output rating.

As far as I am aware, Antec is one of the larger companies that advertise / indicate continuous rating (I.e. my ~7 year old Antec 430W, and the Antec 550W used in my Intel system).

So... is it like..it'll said Continuous on the package?

For example:

http://www.amazon.com/Antec-Current-ATX12V-750-HCG-M/dp/B00DUV01EQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1437452556&sr=8-2&keywords=antec+continuous+psu

Antec actually brands all of theirs as "Continuous."
