EK waterblock for EVGA GTX980ti classified

On the EK-Site I found that the Waterblock for the 780 is usable for the 980ti classified... (Visual inspection)

Can anyone confirm this...

Then I'll order the classified

Compatibility is only visual and won't be physically comfirmed until we receive a copy of the card.  If the block is confirmed to fit then we will redo production of the 780 Classy block

also a reference 980 TI EK board without the " Titan X " engraving would be AMAZING

 

make it happen? 

 

the 980 TI is going to be a high selling card for several months to come, $ on your side since the r/d is already done, just mfg new blocks and new engraving...  :ph34r:

There won't be any redo of the Titan X top to engrave "980 Ti" on it.

Why not remove the text on it and give you a sticker like the EK badge, depending on which one you get?

If anything so should it be cheaper, as you are skipping a lacer cutting stage.

 

Plus people can choose not to have it on, if they so please.

that would be way to intelligent for ek to do something that could be universally appealing and easier on their side.

I understand what you're asking but a sticker wouldn't be aesthetically pleasing.
