Titan X Full Load Silent Temps?

Guest
Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

I'm not here for arugments/debates over 980Ti/Titan X. I'll take that useful info though thanks

To get it close to silent, you'll want a Vario pump, lots of low FPI rad space and low RPM, quiet fans

So, I've been planning on buying a Titan X and I've been thinking about liquid cooling for the future as an option, and I was wondering has the Titan X been cooled enough before under full load for silent temperatures? Or would something like this just not be possible because of how hot thing get for processing something so powerful?

Sounds like a waste of money if that's the first reason you give.

It would depend entirely on your rad space, case, fans and pump. The card has very little to do with how quiet you can cool it.

If it's not vario, it's going to be running full speed all the time. With a D5 vario, you can turn it down to the lowest setting for most smallish loops, and the second setting for a larger loop. Full power is pretty much never needed (yet some people will still put two in a build for some reason)
