My computer just randomly restarts, no blue screen or anything. It started doing it about a week ago so I lefy my pc off for the whole day and it went a week without doing it again. It isnt virus related, heat related and since no blue screen it wouldnt be a hardware issue would it? My specs are - i5 3570k, 8gb ram, 660Ti an asus motherboard, 128 gb SSD with my OS on it, and a 2TB hdd.

What is your PSU? If there isn't a bluescreen I'd imagine then it could probably be a power issue.

CPU: i5 4670k • Cooler: Corsair H100i • Motherboard: MSI Z87 MPOWER • RAM: Crucial Ballistix Elite 2x 8GB • Storage: Samsung 840 250GB SSD, 2x WD Red 3TB • GPU: EVGA GTX 780 3GB • PSU: Corsair RM750W • Case: Corsair 750D • Mouse: Razer Naga 2012 (I actually use the thing for productivity/media buttons) • Keyboard: Ducky Shine 3 w/ Browns - Green LED • Monitor: Asus PB278Q 27" 2560 x 1440, ASUS PB238Q 23" 1920x1080 • Lighting: 2m NZXT Sleeved Blue LED Strip • pcpartpicker.com/p/3cHfZ

If it's really the power supply, it should happen much more frequently.

Not being an expert of any kind. But I think that its related to the SSD

Reading a little on a few forums, other people have reported spontaneous reboots with no BSOD
http://forum.crucial.com/t5/Solid-State-Drives-SSD/RealSSD-C300-Random-reboots-using-AHCI-IDE-is-OK/td-p/36852

Also as they mentioned in the thread, maybe its a dodgy SATA cable (Linus ones had a SSD problem because of a dodgy SATA cable, can't remember what his issue was though)

Or it may just be a firmware conflict between the SSD and motherboard

If it is not SSD related the I think its the ram

Could you say exactly what motherboard, and SSD you are using (Firmware and BIOS version could also possibly help, but don't know) And maybe also try to swap the SSD with a spare HDD to see if it keep rebooting.

Sorry for the late reply.

SSD - Crucial m4 SSD 2.5" 128GB

Motherboard - It's an Asus b75 chipset mini atx bored, but I don't know the exact model.
