Sony Vegas Issue

Dave :)

Alright guys,

Basically I've been editing some videos using Vegas Pro 10 on my laptop. Recently, I've come back to my desktop to continue the work. Upon transferring the project files (same files as on laptop) to my desktop copy of Pro 10, the whole video is slightly misaligned. By this, I mean that any overlay text or animation is ever-so-slightly not in the correct location. It seems to be for all the project files i've worked on my laptop. I've triple checked the project settings and frame properties, aspect ratio etc and they are all set to be identical as the laptop yet the preview - and render - are different.

Anyone got any ideas?

Cheers

It's simply an error with the way Vegas Pro handles its "memory." It was a bit issue in Vegas Pro 10, and 11. Keyframes were particularly affected, but all forms of media have been known to be bit by this bug. There's not anything you can really do. Only thing you could potentially try is clearing Vegas Pro's cache before opening it.

(Ctrl+Shift-click Vegas Pro, and select to clear its cache at startup.)
