Ok so ive been running with intigrated graphics for awile on the assumption that my GPU was dead. However when i plugged it in today the lights and fans on the GPU turned on, but when i have the GPU plugged into the PSU via the PCI-E 8 pins and the PCI-E slot on the motherboard the system refuses to boot. All the fans are running but i am not getting a bios or windows startup. Any suggestions?

The GPU is failing to post? Hmm, try taking out your cmos battery for like 30 seconds and reinstall it. Sometimes that helps stuff like this. :P

I took the CMOS batterey out then put it back in. Nothing.

If you can try the card in another system do it, and if it does not start up there either, the card is dead. Send it in for RMA

I really don't have another system to test it in. When i asked the people in best buy about it they put another card in my system and that seemed to work. Iv'e already requested an RMA.
