Hi. I have a few problems with my new PC. My disk always runs at 100% when I try and open a program for some reason and slows my PC down a lot. I also was able to play Tomb Raider Legend for about 5 minutes no problem and then it crashed. Ever since it crashed, I cannot run it and always get the error message, "This program has been blocked from accessing Graphics Hardware and that my Intel Graphics drivers have crashed and then recovered. Also in Task Manager, my memory is constantly at 80% at idle.

I wont be heavy gaming with games like BF4 and that but just simple games like CS:GO, Minecraft, Tomb Raider. Please help.

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i3 4170

GPU: Integrated HD 4440

RAM: 4GB

Storage: 500GB Toshiba HDD

Motherboard: Gigabyte H97 Gaming 3

OS: Windows 10 Build 10130

You may need to upgrade your HDD, Toshiba HDD aren't very optimal for gaming performance i would say, invest into something like a segate barracuda. You are running Intel build in graphics so that wont be that good for csgo, the cpu is poor but not bad. Also you're running a non-final copy of windows 10. So there may be compatibility issues with games.

Defrag and clear space on your Hard Drive, and close as much background processes as possible i would say for now.

PC ENTHUSIAST, COMPETITIVE GAMER, GENERAL GAMER

Using integrated graphics uses your RAM as vram. Default amount is 2gb, which combined with normal OS and bg processes would explain your high RAM usage at idle. You can tweak the max used amount in BIOS, but I would rather get more RAM. Or cheap dedicated GPU like 750Ti or something used.
