So I tried to install my drivers and I got that, and I tried to use the AMD auto detect tool and it said I have the intel graphics something or other 4600.

CPU: I7 4790k  CPU Cooler: NH-D15 GPUMSI 970 4gb   Motherboard: z97 Gaming 5 PSU: Corsair hx850   Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8 gb  SSD: Samsung 850 Evo  Case: Air 540

i pretty much have the same nmotherboard as you i have the gaming 7 but theyre almost identical what drivers are you trying to install?

Just the normal drivers.

i have the gaming 5 and they didnt show up at first. did you download AMD's drivers than restart ur PC? also I used the CD and not the websit'es for MSI's drivers

might not be a bad idea to use the cd since its a new card.like aytex said.

I don't have a optical drive.

hmmm.....have you retried installing the driver? you did use the application that was in the folder right?

Yes. I forgot to mention that I'm using the vga port on my MOBO because I don't have a DVI D cable I was going to use the HDMI port on my GPU but it won't work without the drivers.

thats not always true have you tried using your gpu? i can use mine without drivers but i have an nvidia card.

Yeah, I tried two different HDMI cables which I know for a fact are working and I got no picture :/

did you enable your graphics card in your bios though?

No I couldn't find an option to.

basicly you gotta disable onboard graphics.

What window you using and can you see the card in device manager?

Some motherboard don't have that option in the bios. However by clearing you cmos by pushing the "clear cmos" button while your AMD graphic card is attach to your motherboard should disable the onboard graphics.

 Refer to the image below for locating the "clear cmos" button
