Help me build a power pc

Go to solution Solved by Inception9269,

i have just over 2,700$ ish to spend on a powerful pc that will be doing allot of video editing and rendering. it might not ever be played on for games. Also the computer will have other programs that need allot of computer power. It might use unreal engine 4 stuff like that. if you need any more info let me know ;)

I made this list assuming you don't need any peripherals such as mouse/keyboard/monitor if so I'll add those later

Intel Core i7-5930K Intel Core i7-5930K 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor

I use this cooler and it's pretty alright - Cooler Master Nepton 240M Cooler Master Nepton 240M 76.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

I prefer MSI for mobos - MSI X99S SLI Plus MSI X99S SLI Plus ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard

I chose 32GB in case you needed that much, but you can adjust that however you wish. I prefer Corsair for ram.
Since you're a heavy content creator I recommend running ssds in raid 1 for redundancy.
mass storage drive, can go higher if needed. One thing I'd probably do is also two hdds and raid 1 with those, depending on how serious your work is.

It will help with your work some, and since gaming isn't a priority i doubt you'd need a 980 ti, although you could switch out with that if really needed.

I built a rig that uses this case and it is really high quality and low noise.

I only chose a wi-fi adapter if you don't have access to a wired connection.

With peripherals,

I suggest 2 Acer G246HLAbd 60Hz 24.0" Monitor

As for mouse and keyboard, I'd imagine those aren't a big priority since it won't really be for gaming, so you could probably get by with some from a store like best buy or something.
