Looks good. Seems like a solid high end 1080p or low end 1440p build. I would not get thst PSU. Corsair PSUs aren't very good. I'd go for a vega g2 or GS series. Any EVGA psi that's like t2 p2 and ect are also good.

Thanks, this is for gaming, game capturing and editing :)

I know you purchased the motherboard already but a Z97 would be BEST so that you can overclock that CPU. If you dont play to OC then I suggest getting a Xeon E3-1231 V3 instead.

Yeah

Then you need to get a different motherboard. Even if the one you have now has a bios hack that allows overclocking on B85 (which Intel specifically codes to prevent), it's only a 3 phase VRM board so you shouldn't be overclocking on it anyway.

You can compensate for the price difference by dropping your cooler down to a Cooler Master 212 Evo, which will still have sufficient thermal headroom to hit high diminishing returns on your overclocking.

The B85 chipset isn't even optimised for overclocking. People buy this boards because they dont want to overclock. Now i think about it there is realy no need for the i7k, but he can just go with the non-k.

Thanks

Its like a non-K i7 but a lot cheaper. :) It will help your gaming, game capturing and editing a lot.

Also like what everyone said dont get a Corsair CX PSU for your build. Maybe a EVGA GS series or higher, any Corsair PSU above the CX series, any Seasonic, any XFX PSU instead.
