Budget Build help needed

Go to solution Solved by Komplett,

thats what i did i went with 4690 non-k and h97 m/b

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/4nrydC

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/B7HfZL

So i am build a PC primarily for Gaming with a Budget of 1500$ CAN and i cant go over that amount this is already over budget.

Most of the games I play are GTA, Ark survival, arma 3, assetto corsa, project cars, war thunder, and wargaming games.

I Plan on only running 1 monitor most likely 1080p and would like it to be the acer h236hl just so that way when in the future i can make multi-screen layout with these screens.

So the preipherals that i will end up needing are the OS windows 8.1 and a monitor.

Here is what i have come up with: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/h24tFT

Thanks ahead of time for any suggestions and recommendations.

Get the 390x instead. About same price, but performs better than a 980. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/visiontek-video-card-900810 Might want to get a more hefty power supply if you do though.

So would you think that the msi 8gb 390x would be the better choice then?

I changed your build just a bit to color match and hen went to a h97 mobo since you won't be overclocking anyway

<p>Wish I could have this already!! : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qTLRjX

I dont know why you wouldnt want to overclock, but I still think you should get a CPU cooler, its better with lower temps..

Here's a new one with SSD, cant get in the 390X without breaking your budget tho.. : http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/Fmv823

Here's 390X, slightly over, but 390X, no CPU Cooler or SSD though.. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/B7HfZL

well, it's not overclocking per se, intel call it Overdrive or Turboboost. by design it gives you power of 4.4 on 4 GHz cpu (i use i7 4690k)

if you dont use this features, try some mobo with H series and non-k intel cpu

The xeon's perfect since you won't be overclocking. It'll give you the performance of an I7 without paying as much for one. The 390x is more than powerful enough to handle 4k, not to mention 1080p, so your fine graphically wise as well. Additionally, you get one tb of storage along with a very good ssd for fast boot time.
