Need a password manager

Lastpass if you want ease of use and browser plugins, and you don't mind it's cloud based nature.

Keepass if you want a more manual approach, with a locally stored encrypted database.

I use a combination of the two, and can recommend both, they are pretty great.

Not very secure as my family and/or friends would find it.

You don't write your passwords in it.  You write a keyword and numbers to help you remember what the password is.  Something like Router01, means its your router password with a capital at the beginning, 01 at the end

The problem is that I use randomly generated passwords for security

I have a 64mb flash drive, it holds multiple word documents and note pads that have every single password I have ever had, old and new passwords. the thing is the files are archived in Winrar and have a 30 character pass-phrase. Some people are going to say that Winrar is unsecured but the only way to access it is by physically having the flash drive, which is in a safe that has a 4 digit code. and when I do access the drive, I usually turn my internet off for that minute. have fun getting my passwords. as well as multiple authentication that if you were to get my password, you would need my phone which never leaves my side, has security on it, and never connected to unsecured public wifi. Proof.
