Question on Cable

There's a cable running from my motherboard on my laptop all the way to the LCD monitor on the laptop. It connects on to it. What is it called? I need to buy a replacement one. Do you know where I can find one?

You mean the internal flat ribbon cable? I don't really think you can get those separately.

Could be any number of things. There's not just one standardized laptop connector. Most likely possibilities are LVDS or eDP but even those have multiple types and shapes. Laptops aren't really designed to be serviced so there's very little standardization among laptop parts.
