so last night i wanted to OC my CPU so i open catalyst control  looked around and found the cpu overdrive i did the test thing and it stopped in the middle of 4300 and told me to reboot so i did. then when i opened catalyst today, when i turned CPU overdrive on i it has a slider bar that goes to 4200, but on my CPU box it says max turbo is 4.1 im guessing that would be 4100 on the slider in overdrive. so is it safe to go to 4200?

sorry im new to this and i dont want to break anything.  my teps will be fine when OC because i have the 212 evo

You didnt get lucky.... I used catalyst for mine and I was able to go to 5.1 GHz but I kept it at 4.8 GHz for safety reason (I have air cooling) I didnt even need to adjust myvoltage

Don't overclock with Catalyst, do it in BIOS/UEFI.

honestly i rather have something that does it for me so i dont mess anything up i dont need to OC and im not dying to do it i just want a small boot to help with playing gta 5 while streaming best it works just stuff takes longer to load in and i found it its because of my CPU being used up by OBS
