$1200 laptop

I need a laptop for schoolwork and gaming. My maximum is $1200, though I'd really like less, being a poor high school student and all. I can't skimp on gaming performance because this will be used for LANning. I've gotten sick from looking but never finding anything decent. Thanks in advance.

What I mean by gaming is I don't want a pile of shit, like a MacBook or something.

The ones I linked (especially the Lenovo) I'm super jealous of. I want so bad but I can't because $$$$ and my school doesn't allow us to bring laptops.

I'm sorry but 720p for such an expensive laptop is a joke, anyone who buys a MacBook is an idiot.
