DVD's vs digital ultrawide question

So i just got my LG 29um67 ultrawide and was enjoying gaming but thinking of watching some movies but do DVD's and or digital "torrent " support 21:9?

CD's are audio only so... 

Yes torrented movies come in 21:9.

DVD's and bluray's play in 21:9 if shot in 21:9

WHHOPS i mean DVD
