i5 2500k

Go to solution Solved by Cryptonite,

I'm talking about myself not you.  If you really want to save money, how much is the amd fx-8320 where you live? You can get a cheap 990 mobo+ 8320 and probably save some money over the intel solution and save it for future upgrades, or maybe to get better internet to stream in higher settings (assuming that's why you only said 480p)

Can you not buy haswell where you live? I think a 4670k would be nearly on par maybe faster than the 2600k for less money, but if you live in a strange place it may not be a better option.

oh okay then, lol

anyway I've given my thoughts, it's up to Skitz what he wants to do, 2 AM so good night.

what i5 2500k ? is that what u mean

No. The 8350 performs better during streaming.

Yes. That would work and will help when streaming.

As someone who owns all 3 CPU's (2500K, 3570K, FX8350) I can tell you they all perform about the same within margin of error in specific tasks. The 8350 is the way to go if you want to save some cash, but again, certain tasks will run better on intel.

With the i7, now you are in a whole seperate league of CPU. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but the 8530 is directly competing with the i5 2500K/3570K.

They are all good choices, since you are coming from a X4 955, you won't be disapoined with any of those options.

if it was an i5 vs the 8350 for streaming I'd go with that, but if you can get a cheap 2600k, by all means go for it man.

how much would the 8350 cost you? and give me prices for the processor and mobo together (also for the i7) since prices here differ a lot from overseas it seems.

I'd just go with the i7 2600k. dunno how many would agree with me though. I guess the best thing to do is watch a few video reviews on the two and make up your mind.

Tbh, it's a hard call to make.

It is somewhere in this 58 minute long video so you can search if you would like

don't mind them, common sense dictates a 32 nm chip will run cooler under higher clocks and volts. if can't comprehend that let them just go about their day, trying to help others out who don't want to be helped is something I'm growing tired of doing, these guys multiply like crazy and grow more ignorant by day.

i have asked some many times and people say the fx 8350 but i going for the i7 2600k

and is that board ok for oc to 4.5ghz and my cooler is a nh-d14

that board should do fine, but why not try getting a cheaper Z77 or Z 68 board? you're fine with it imho. I just don't like buying Asus because I've had bad experience with them overheating or being soldered badly. that's why I rather go for cheaper no name brands like the biostar I'm using right now, since MSI is out of my league.
