what is the cheapest ssd I can buy? That has good performance

Also depends on the storage you need.

The more storage you need, the more expensive it gets.

What I can recommend are the Samsung 850Evo, Crucial BX100, HyperX Fury and Adata SP610.

The BX100 will most likely be the cheapest.

They all perfom good.

Especially if you are looking for the "cheapest" they will be practically identical.

Just go to any online retailer and sort by price.

Samsung 850 evo 120GB version should be enough to store your OS and games. And for £43.95 on amazon is pretty cheap too
My build is on a £500 budget and i have accounted for one of these SSD's as it dramatically increases performance and boot times.

Why Is it windows 10 not 9?

because 7 ate 9

Small games, maybe. I got a 120GB Evo for my boot SSD and I only have 50GB free now. I really wish I'd gone for a bigger SSD instead of a bigger HDD.

A 240GB is just enough space for all of your games (depending on how many games you have), OS, and important programs. If you want to go with a 120GB, you will have to sacrifice some games as they won't fit on the SSD. I have experience with both and even with a 512GB SSD like my 840 Pro. There is also the option of getting a SanDisk ReadyCache SSD to cache your HDD and make it much faster, just not plain ol' SSD speeds.

The cheapest I found with a quick PCpartpicker search is a 32GB Sandisk for $34.29

a better value would be a 64GB Sandisk for $40

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

What OS are you running because im pretty sure windows 7 is only 20 GB

If you need more space then just save up some more money and buy a seccond one when you need it :)

Windows 7. I haven't installed anything on the SSD aside from Windows and an antivirus and I only have 50GB free (and I'm pretty sure avast doesn't take up a ton of space).

Just took this from microsoft
"if you want to run Windows 7 on your PC, here's what it takes: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor. 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit) 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)"

Not wanting to start an argument but i honestly can't see how your SSD is so full ? in theory you should have roughly 100 GB of space remaining
I'd have a look inside and see what is taking up so much space
