So now that Win 10 is just around the corner and a lot of people (my self included) are doing new/clean installs what are some other good practices?

I plan on taking a weekend for:

  • Taking everything apart, cleaning and putting it back together
  • Backups. Local and off site.
  • Small hardware upgrades.
  • Setting a new desk.

Any suggestions? Tips for hardware upgrades and good benchmarks for testing the new OS?

Thanks!

If you already got your Windows 10 reserve, you can hope on in July 29th.

sure,

They say that

xD

once everyone starts DDOs servers DL speeds will be slow

and since windows update doesn't support torrenting on windows 7

like it does on 10 it gonna be fun.

They don't need to DDOS, because Microsoft is already know that its server will get overloaded due to 100 millions of people downloading at once.
