check the manual, google is also your friend, i'll see if i can find an online one and report back.

try clearing cmos btw

edit: is this the z97 or x99?

edit: according to it's manual download error code 03 and 08 represent Power on North Bridge Initialization which apparently is solved by reseatting RAM, makesure you have all connectors connected too

Its a z97 mother board. Checking the manual now. How do i clear the cmos?

Somthing to do with North bridge power if I'm reading the debug table right. Chapter 1 Page 37. EDIT: -.- Damn ninja

I assume 03 is power and then 08 is initialisation.

the little button in the I/O

I think it is this? can't tell if it is or not

ITS ALIVE. I had to move the ram to slot one. Will come back if there are any more problems. Thanks for the help guys.

no problem, always use every other ram slot, usually the same color, for optimal performance and less chance of bugs

it is possible you had a dead ram slot, also. you can sometimes fix it by fixing the pins on the back of the motherboard, but sometimes ESD gets it and you're SOL
