From what I'm seeing on the ASUS website, the motherboard already has a built-in wireless adapter.

As for the BIOS update - they are telling you that you may need to flash your BIOS to a newer version to fully and properly support latest Haswell CPU's.

Exactly in my case, I had to flash my BIOS to a newer version so the CPU would behave properly with the motherboard.

You can select your desired OS from here, then go to the BIOS list and download the latest iteration, with which then you flash the motherboard's BIOS.

Use the wifi on board if it has it.

If not get the ASUS PCE-N10

How can I fix the compatibility problem?

Most Z87 boards now ship with the updated BIOS already. Some have a flashback setup so you can easily update via USB with no CPU. Or you can take the board to a local retailer like NCIX or Microcenter and they will often update it for you.

The New Machine: Intel 11700K / Strix Z590-A WIFI II / Patriot Viper Steel 4400MHz 2x8GB / Gigabyte RTX 3080 Gaming OC w/ Bykski WB / x4 1TB SSDs (x2 M.2, x2 2.5) / Corsair 5000D Airflow White / EVGA G6 1000W / Custom Loop CPU & GPU

The Rainbow X58: i7 975 Extreme Edition @4.2GHz, Asus Sabertooth X58, 6x2GB Mushkin Redline DDR3-1600 @2000MHz, SP 256GB Gen3 M.2 w/ Sabrent M.2 to PCI-E, Inno3D GTX 580 x2 SLI w/ Heatkiller waterblocks, Custom loop in NZXT Phantom White, Corsair XR7 360 rad hanging off the rear end, 360 slim rad up top. RGB everywhere.

So the build is fine?

I don't have to add/remove anything?

I wouldn't bother with the 212 Evo. You can't overclock that 4460 anyways. If you can get a Z97 board that would guarantee zero issues.
