Lg 29um67 freesync problem

Go to solution Solved by PineappleHolidays,

You need display port

yup startech 1.2 display cable

Is it connected properly to the right connector ?

I would try uninstalling and reinstalling drivers.

Hi !

so my new lg 29um67 just came in and everything is fine but i can't enable freesync for some reason.

i use a r9 290 so it isn't the gpu and got the new 15.7 omega driver but there simply isn't a option to enable it sadly since freesync is so new there isn't much information on freesync.

so after a live chat with lg which went totally great ...... (Lg just random stopped the chat )

so the great forum of linus hopefully can help me.

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

So you don't have to reinstall drivers but in exchange pay 150€ more for the module ?

This isn't really a "reason"

i LOVED my HD 5770, but i had stupid driver issues along the way, which in the end killed the fan. (no vsync was one of the more pressing issues)
