CF Vinyl 750D?

Slayher

I'm currently re-planning my whole build, I personally think the way I have it right now looks ugly inside.

The specs are amazing, but it doesn't look on the inside!

Here is the old initial build log thread:

The Superb 750D Machine

Here are the specs:

  • Operating System: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit
  • Case: Corsair Obsidian 750D
  • Processor: Intel Core i7 4770k @ 4.5GHz
  • RAM: 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133MHz
  • Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS VI FORMULA
  • Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti
  • Storage: 2TB WD Green
  • Lighting: NZXT Hue
  • Case Fans: Corsair AF140

Here are my plans:

  • Windows 8.1 Professional 64-bit --> Windows 10 Professional 64-bit (When it releases on July 29th, don't ask why)
  • Black 750D --> White Carbon Fiber 750D (Wrap the side panels, keep the front and back black)
  • Black Corsair 760i --> White Carbon Fiber 760i
  • i7-4770k --> i7-4790k (Getting the new processor for about $35, don't ask how)
  • Black + Green 660Ti --> Black Carbon Fiber Vinyl 660Ti
  • Replace all red sata cables to white sata cables
  • Replace all black psu cables to white psu cables

Please tell me what you think of all of my new plans.

Oh yeah, and I shall release a new build log thread whenever I do all of this.

Tell me how you like the idea, is it too much white? If so, what should I wrap with the white carbon fiber vinyl and what shouldn't I?

I'm ordering carbon fiber vinyl in white and black in-case I need to do something.

Thanks in advance!

I need LTT help on this one!

What do you think? I don't want too much white, I want it to look amazing sauce.

I think'll look great however you're definitely gonna switch that GPU for something newer in the near future. Other than that I'm excited, this build looks like it's gonna be pretty saxy. Also carbon fiber is bae.

Oh yeah, I'll be getting the GTX 980 Ti in a few weeks if all goes well.

I flashed another bios on my graphics card and boosted the % overclock via modded firmware, so I get more fps temporarily ;-)
