Black Issues

I have had my monitor for almost two years now. I originally was running the display off of a DVI single link cable, recently I moved over to DVI. After the change, i keep getting this weird black streaking affect. Any color that is close to black will make lines that are a slightly different shade and will move from bottom to top of my screen. I don't know what is causing  this or how to fix it. Anybody have any ideas?

May want to change the title, may come across as racist

dude, my Corsair CX600'S fan already rattled after ,1 week and two weeks l8er the fan didnt spin up at all, actually i read on forums tha people even had several Hx ones that didnt work properly. i wrote this cuz i read your message on your profile ;) about the CX ones

Okay can we please stop ridiculing me for not noticing that my title may have been racist. It was not intended to be racist just to give a look at the issue I was having. Please use your brains and notice the context of where this post was placed. It was placed in the display section for a reason, so obviously it has to mean I am having issues with the coloring of my monitor and not with a certain ethnicity of people. Can I please just get some serious help and not some morons that seem to have their heads in the gutter. Thank you. I just want some help on a topic.

Maybe try different cables? I'm not to great with monitors :/ What was your reason for switching in the first place?

To what I can figure out DIV single link is worse compared to HDMI, so I switched since I had the HDMI laying around and wanted better quality.
