I recently purchased a TP-Link TL-WPA4220 kit, it has 500mbps through wired connection, and 300mbps wireless boosting. I set them up as per instructed but when I plug into them I don't get a connection, when I check the connection application in the bottom right (I have Windows 7) it says no internet access. I have had a lot of difficulty troubleshooting my problem on the internet, so I decided to take it to the forums, how can I get my powerline connection working (it says they have connection with each other but not the internet.

Powerline sometimes doesn't work if you have a surge protector in between the units.

I have 3 powerline adapter on my table right now, all dead over the course of 5months. 1 is still alive, wonder how long will that one hang on for...

as mentioned before:

pairing

and plug them both straight into the wall, or a normal -just copper- extension lead.

the moment theres technology between the powerlines' wall outlets you're done for.

i had some luck with fuses in between them tho.

what i mean with just copper:

They are both plugged directly into the bottom socket of two outlets in my house, I understand how they work, I paired them correctly (the powerline led is lit up showing they are connected to each other) I know that they need to be plugged in directly.
