After my first Reinstall of my OS, should I just make an Image of my system at that point for future re-installs? Haven't really done much with doing Images yet, but have done a little research and that seems that best way to basically reset my system. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Its up to you. Some prefer it, some don't.

I keep an image on a partition of my 4TB.

Intel NUC running Server 2019 + Synology DSM218+ with 2 x 4TB Toshiba NAS Ready HDDs (RAID0)
