Just something odd I noticed, when scrolling through my Steam games, my CPU fans would spin up. I think the cause is scrolling at a high speed polls the CPU enough to make it think a bit but, that's just speculation.

Anywho, video yay. Each time it peaks ~25-30% the mouse is scrolling (mouse wheel unlocked, fast scrolling).

But it's 25% load on a CPU probably running 800-1200mhz. But indeed, steam does soak up some of the CPU time. Especially the frontpage, if you monitor CPU and GPU load over a long period, you see it spiking.

It's only when I scroll.
