Samsung Notebook

JefferyD90

So I am fixing a Samsung 3 Series notebook for someone, and I have determined that I actually dislike Samsung more than I do Toshiba.  Their driver support is just down right awful.  REQUIRING a internet connection through about 4 of the 11 drivers on their website, not to include how difficult it is to navigate through the drivers on their website.

Also their UEFI is impossible to navigate.

Why cant OEM manufactures just make it easy to do these sorts of things?

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

I forgot to say, the reason for the furious post...  I HAD to connect to the internet to install the Intel VGA driver...  upon connecting (and waiting for .net 3.5 to download because Samsung decided to not include a offline installer) Windows went and did what it was suppose to do and found the Microsoft generic driver for the SATA controller and tried installing it RIGHT in the middle of the VGA install and POOF bluescreen... now I got to do a clean install, all over again.

Samsung killed off their laptop line mostly so it's not surprising support is dead too.

Their support was never good.  But this has made doing a clean install of Windows (practically) impossible.
