Well, my sister is kind of in need of a faster computer. Her OptiPlex 170L, while still perfectly functional, is slow as hell. So, my old weekend rig has no use right now, so I thought I would fix it up and give it to my sister. So, let's kick this thing off, shall we?

What happened to the GPU's mounting bracket thing? It can't be good for it to just hang out of the PCIe slot like that.

What happened to the GPU's mounting bracket thing? It can't be good for it to just hang out of the PCIe slot like that.

I only have a low-profile one for it. When I give it up, I'll have to prop the cables up against the wall so it doesn't get yanked out of the slot.

My sister just got upgraded to a Barracuda 7200.9 80GB since it's a decent amount faster, and with it I did the cable management a little bit. Nothing impressive, but wow. So much faster...
