Go to solution Solved by kipper,

Here is a pic from my PC...

It is definitely all the way down.

It IS at minimum. Try to increase it...  Find the option in the settings.xml in the documents folders and put it to 0.

nope, it's not....

extended distance scaling is maxed out and locked so it can't be changed...

Can you change it manually in the ini file?

Hm, looks like it was down. Is that the only option that's locked? Maybe try turning the options in normal graphics down to Normal, or change them from what you have and see if it unlocks. It may also be possible to change the options in some .ini, not sure.

i didn't understand a thing you said.

wow...lol like I said go look at the other settings. Pop density, variety and distance scaling. Clearly they are bright colors when turned up. Chances are you didn't turn up distance scaling in the "graphics" menu. Stop looking at advanced graphics.

yes man they are bright colors, but this one is locked so it can't be increased or decreased...

My Point is it's maxed out all the way and i cant decrease it!, how can i do it manually do it?

AND IT'S NOT BRIGHT COLOR CAUSE IT'S FREAKING LOCKED!!

lmao you can clearly see that extended shadow distance is the one locked. Why you can't adjust it I have no idea. But it's not maxed out. If you don't want to cooperate and look at the other graphics options and compare the brightness of the bars I can't help you. Sorry for annoying you.

HAHAHA

I just looked up a random youtube video about settings. Notice how population variety is about halfway up?  Then look at distance scaling. I promise you it's all the way down in your settings. I would show you my own screen shots but I uninstalled the game yesterday and I am reinstalling it today on a different drive. Didn't think there was much use having it on an ssd when my load times are so limited by server connections.
