PSU causing GPU to whine?

(My gpu is asus 970)

So I recently replaced my cx750 with a ax760. When I had the cx750 and was in a game where I had like 1k fps in loading screen it made a huge beeping sound and but when I was playing the game a quiet beeping sound. However now I have the ax760 and there is no beeping sound and the PSU and GPU are 100% silent if I'm not in a game, however when I am in the game I get a slight buzzing sound nowhere bear as bad as before. Is this the GPU or PSU fault? I heard that the 970 cards have bad coil whine so I don't know. BTW I am 100% sure no coil whine is from PSU only a slight static noise, but that's normal I think.

PSU has nothing to do with coil whine of the CraphisCard. Limit the FPS to 60 (or what Hz your Display has) or force Vsync for every Game in your Controll Panel can reduce it.

did that but still occurs.

Than you had bad Luck with the Card. If its within time, i would send it back and get another.
