$1200 PC Build

I'm planning on building a new computer soon and was wondering what parts I should be putting in it.

My budget is max $1200 USD but it would be nice if the price was closer to $1000.

I want to have GTX 970 or the AMD equivalent (can't think of it right now).

That is my only requirement.

Every thing else is up in the air.

I can link something with Mail in Rebates too, but I choose to go with prices that don't include Mail in Rebates.

Your total is over $1000 without Mail in Rebates, mine is UNDER $1000 without Mail in rebates.

So here is mine WITH Mail in Rebates....

Mine features a better Motherboard and Case, as well as equal memory at a lower price.

The GPU difference... Meh I have the Asus 970 and love it, but the EVGA has better Stock Clocks, so I put it in there. I like the Asus one better honestly, so no h8.

Everyone are such haters on here.

Fine...

Use the PSU Sam Z Man recommended from his build in my build. It's a little cheaper anyway. So WINNING.

and Case? idk just pick one, to each their own on cases. Shit I mean you can mount it to a piece of Plywood and it would still run. So Cases are EW!

Would it be worth it to exchange the cpu cooler for a Hyper 212 Evo in order to get a 250gb ssd?
