Hi guys,I am looking to upgrade my GPU and wondering if my current config will work.

I have:
Intel Core i3-2120

Radeon 7770(upgrading)

8gb DDR3 1333mzh

Asus P8H61M-LE

450W random shitty PSU(Upgrading to Corsair 750W)

Monitors:

x1 1080P 60hz Primary Gaming Monitor

x1 900P secondary monitor

So,if I upgrade to a GTX 760, will my CPU bottleneck it? I don't need to be recording because I have a capture card(AverMedia Live Gamer HD).

If my CPu will bottleneck, I was thinking getting an i5-3570K and a $100 motherboard or an FX-8350 with a $100 motherboard. I think the FX will suite me better, but no upgradability. If I went with the i5 route,I could get an i7 a year or 2 down the road. Need your opinions.

go FX way. its really cheap, and it has multiple cores that can easily play games from 2 - 8 core supported. and its overclockable. make sure you get 990mobo with it

i also vote for 760 and 7950 :) but i see you have 7770, so you could easily wait till 9000 series that will have -  i am sure - insane deal, great power consumption, new free games bundle, ... i wouldnt say no to a free battlefield 4 :D

out of the 2, i would 100% get the 7950, for NeverSettle alone! plus the AMD route would probably suit you better,8350 is a pretty beast CPU and the AMD boards are usually cheaper!

AMD 8350 // 8 GB Corsair Ram // PNY 780 Ti // Asus 1080p Monitor // Antec 120mm AIO // CM Quickfire TK w/ Custom Caps  // RAT 5 mouse // Audio Technica m50x // Behringer 4-line + Line6 8-line Audio Interfaces

Get an i5 3570k or 4670k and overclock that baby. Also, you may hate it, but 7950 > 760

i5 4670k | Sapphire 7950 | Kingston 120GB SSD | Seagate 1TB | G.Skill Ripjaw X Series 8GB

PB238Q | Steelseries Sensei | Ducky DK9087 | Qck Heavy

To be honest, I'd upgrade your processor first to an  i5 3570k (keep same MOBO) or to an i5 4670k (requires new 1150 socket MOBO) before upgrading your GPU. Your current i3 will definitely bottleneck a 760 or 7950 GPU.

As for GPU, the choice is entirely yours. nVidia will grant you compatibility with Shield and Shadowplay while AMD will toss in NeverSettle (if you can still find it). The 7950 is also a faster GPU than the 760 when overclocked.

The 7950 is also more exspensive. But my current mobo has no SATA 3 or USB 3(Needed since I have a USB hdd for my games.) SO I would like to upgrade my CPU AND MOBO at the same time. Also I would like to spend around $550(not counting PSU)

You could just put your hdd in your case and get this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1lyGl

I would get a 3570k and a P8Z77-V LK board with a Sapphire Dual-X 7950/ HIS IceQ X2 7950/ MSI Twin Frozr 3 7950.
